Power Supply failure leads to unexpected server downtime.

A power supply failure in the main web server caused websites to go offline for approximately 2-1/2 hours between 12 noon and 3 pm eastern time. A replacement power supply was installed and tested before bringing the server back online. Email services were also interrupted periodically while the repair was made.
