Advanced and E-Commerce Accounts:
You have the choice of either a MS Windows 2000 or Unix server:
The Windows hosting server supports popular scripting languages such as Active Server Pages (ASP), Cold Fusion (CF), and Perl along with databases such as Microsoft Access, MS SQL (add $15/month), Oracle, dBase and Foxpro. Our Windows packages also support Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 extensions (Microsoft Registered Web Presence Provider for Microsoft Frontpage). The control panel gives you the ability to manage your mail server (setting up users, aliases), web based access to your Emails as well as POP access using programs such as Outlook, Eudora etc.
Unix has long been known for reliablity, stablity and speed. The Unix server supports PHP and Perl Scripting languages. MySQL database support is standard on Unix. In addition Oracle databases are supported for high-end database requirements. A full featured control panel allows you to setup Email accounts, password protect directories and obtain information regarding your domain. Microsoft® FrontPage® 2000 extensions is also supported on Unix. Unix will have POP access for email.
The cost for switching from UNIX to NT or vice versa is US$20.00.
