image
Website design can sometimes be a difficult thing to
imagine in your head. Here are some sample layouts and color schemes that will
get your ideas started.
Layout. There are four common layout designs for a website.
|

One Column with Header
This page layout is very common. Many different types of
sites can use this layout. The negative space gives the site an open space
feel.
|

Two Columns with Header
This is a common page layout used by eCommerce sites. The navigation
is easy to find and gives space to the rest of the page.
|
|

Three Columns with Header
Content-driven sites use this layout most frequently. The space is divided
to allow for navigation, copy and advertising.
|

Letterbox
This is a creative layout for a site. Sites that have very little content
use this type for the attractive negative space.
|
There are also other unique site layouts that are determined by the site's personality and content.

desires - good for encouraging purchases (used sparingly) |
 |

 |
Yellow Cheerfulness, hopefulness, welcoming

peacefulness, and freshness - good for financial businesses |
 |
